[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Verification email not sent

  • Hi,

    I read around the web many discussions, but none helped.

    I’ve got the following features:

    * Linux Server
    * PHP Version 5.2.16
    * WP 3.0.1
    * RPR 3.6.22

    RPR settings:
    Email Verification [Verify all new users email address…] – checked
    Admin Verification [Moderate all new user registrations…] – checked
    Custom Verification Message [Enable…] – checked

    in Admin Notification Settings:
    Admin Notification – UNchecked
    Custom Admin Notification – UNchecked

    RPR looks working fine, no errors, no warnings, the registration succeed, the user “UNVERIFIED” gets in;
    the Verification email is not sent at all;
    The only email I receive is the Admin Notification.

    I tried different email accounts, from different email provider: no result;

    Strange behaviour:
    Even if I’ve got Admin Notification UNchecked, I see the following: “Summary – The following message will be sent when a user is registered or created:” with the grey box previewing the Admin Notification.
    It should not be there, isn’t it?

    Any help? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Giuseppe,

    sadly I found nothing except for one last try I did not think before: because the website I’m building is under construction I haven’t created an email account like [email protected] yet.
    Because of the hosting provider settings this could be worth a try, in one case in the past I found WP starting to send emails via another similar plugin – Contact Form – only when I used the website domain email.

    Keep in touch, I’ll give you news about this.
