[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Way to display additional fields in user profile?

    This plugin looks awesome, and just the kind of thing I would like to do. I’m just wondering if there’s a way to use the additional fields outside the admin area? For example, can I add that data to the user profiles? So instead of just their name with a link, and the bio area, can I have it display their phone number or address or facebook username?

    I’m doing a private site that is for collaboration. All the people that will have access will be okay with everyone else seeing this information (and I’ll note it in the RPR disclaimer/privacy policy). I just want to know if there’s a way to let everyone see it (so that we don’t have to keep phone or email lists on the site) by going to each person’s user profile to get their info?

    It’s totally possible to access all the data, you have to get a hold of the userdata, perhaps the following post would be helpful…

    Okay, this is great. Thanks so much. I think that’s enough info for me to figure it out. Do you know if there’s a way to make a page or whatever that just lists all the user profiles? So I can have a “contact info” where you can get everyone’s info in one list. Or perhaps use the info in your link to compile a page of emails, a page of phone numbers, etc.?

    I use AmR Users, you might have to fiddle with it a bit, but it’s doable. You can then insert shortcode such as [userlist list=1] into a page or post and it will list the users.

    You were so prompt in your replies, I was wondering if you’d seen my other thread regarding using your awesome RPR plugin with the Absolute Privacy plugin: https://goo.gl/ZERey?

    I tried to export my user db with RPR extra fields with the AmR users plugin (which is another great tool), but my custom fields will not show up in the user list configuration. How did you do it?

    EDIT: I now found out, that the extra fields will only show up in AmR settings if they were set to be asked during registration. Other fields will not show, however.

    UPDATE: It was just me being stupid. After rebuilding the list under point 2 in AmR (nicer names), they all showed up.
