[Plugin: Related Links] Reciprocity of related links ?

    thanks, and i’m happy that you like the plugin.

    well, the plugin isn’t working like that. and i hardly doubt that i will ever implement this feature. currently the related links are saved as custom meta in the post. to make your feature work you have two possibilities:

    – when the post is saved, update all linked posts and set their related links too.
    – when a post is loaded, check the database and meta query all posts that have the current post id set as related link. for this you would need to save all id’s as seperate meta.

    i would go with the first option. feel free to implement it and i will gladly put it into the code when you send me the changes.

    Unfortunately I’m not a developer myself, but I hope this idea will interest someone who can implement it.
