[Plugin: Relevanssi – A Better Search] feature request – make Relevanssi work with WP Hide Post

    WP Hide Posts modifies WP database queries, which Relevanssi completely bypasses. The two won’t work together, unless I hard-code support for the plugin. I’ll have to consider.

    I can see how that might be complicated.

    I’m currently doing a dance of relevanssi on, WP-Hide-post off.
    Then WP-Hide-post on and relevanssi off when I have a super secret test page up that can’t show up in search results.

    If you decide it’s doable, let me know. It might make a valuable premium version feature. Thanks, Kato

    You can use the “Exclude posts” feature in Relevanssi to prevent posts from being indexed.

    And yes, if this feature makes it to Relevanssi, it’ll be a Premium feature.

    OMG. I’m so glad you mentioned that feature.

    I probably don’t need WP Hide Post if I can just hide two key categories from search.
