[Plugin: Relevanssi – A Better Search] How do I exclude a Custom Post Type?

  • I want Relevanssi to index everything except for one particular Custom Post Type (an event type). The problem is right now it’s indexing old events.

    I’ve tried to update the Indexing Options and to put in -events for Custom post types to Index, but that doesn’t work. In fact, any change I make to the “What to include in the index” results in the exact same results. IE. if I ask for it to only index pages, it still indexes all posts and post types.

    Hmm, hard to say – that’s how it should work. At least on my site posts will index only posts, pages will index only pages and all public indexes both. Don’t have any custom post types on that site, so can’t test that…
