Plugin remains in admin while deleted from ftp

    The title explains somewhat my problem. I’ve used a Site Statistics plugin for testing purposes only. It wasn’t the right one i wanted so i deleted it from my webspace. After that i checked the plugin manager and saw the plugin still appearing there. The plugin is not active. Obviously i want it to be removed. Is there a way to do that?

  • I would double-check the wp-content/plugins directory for both the plugin file, and any possible subdirectory for the plugin.

    Thanks, the plugin was a few dirs deeper than the plugin dir. The problem is solved now.
