• I’m looking for a dev that wants to tackle what I assume would be an easy challenge or DJ’s like myself that use wordpress.

I would like a plugin that allows site visitors to enter song requests for an upcoming DJ gig. This is how I envision it:

    – Site admin uses back-end settings to create show, or song request plugin pulls data from other gig plugins like GigPress or GigCalendar.
    – DB table is created with event ID #, artist, song title, and mix/version.
    – Admin can assign existing wordpress members to event, to give them ability to add song requests for that event.
    – Shortcode is placed on wordpress page to create a Song Requests page.
    – Song requests page displays nothing for site visitors not signed in.
    – For site visitors that are signed in, song request page displays list of events that the visitor is assigned to.
    – When visitor selects an event, the page displays a form used for entering new songs, and displays a table of all song requests for the event below the form.
    – Visitors can edit or delete their own song requests, but only view requests made by other visitors.
    – Site admins can use back-end to dump a simple list of all the requests for any event into a plain, printable table. Table should be sortable by any column.

I know I’m asking for something for nothing, but I can’t find any existing plugin that comes close to this. I’m a coldfusion developer, with 0 knowledge of PHP or wordpress API, but I love the wordpress CMS. I’ve coded this same functionality before in coldfusion, and I’d love it if someone could do it in PHP/wordpress so I could disassemble it to learn (and use it for my site, obviously).

Are you up for the challenge? Or am I a jack@$$ for asking? (don’t take the easy pot shot).
