Plugin request: Twitter cache

Hi,

I love twitter and I embedded the javascript in the header of my blog (https://blogjunkie.net). Unfortunately, twitter can be a bit slow and delay my site in loading. Sometimes my blog doesn’t even load past the header.

I was wondering if someone could create a plugin that would cache my twitter tweets, perhaps in a text file, so that my latest tweets wouldn’t have to be pulled from twitter itself.
