Plugin rewrite completely screwed up my testimonials on live client site

I was using this plugin on a client site and the latest update deleted my plugin showcase. When I created a new one and added it to the site, the layout was completely broken and none of my style rules applied anymore.

After spending about an hour restyling my testimonials, I realized two things:

1) It’s only pulling an excerpt of each testimonial so the testimonials just cut off in the middle, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to change this.

2) The “Job Title” field is gone. This was an important feature to lend credibility to my clients testimonials.

I’ve been trying to hack this new version back together to make it work, but it looks like I’m going to have to go with something else and completely start over. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
