[Plugin: rootsPersona] Troubles adding/editing facts

  • Hi Ed,

    I have my website set to use it as the system of record and I’ve got a strange thing happening. If I edit the facts of a living relative (I have privacy of living relatives set), after saving and viewing the record it deletes out all but one or two of my changes/facts. And it won’t save anything that doesn’t have a date attached. What’s strange is that I can have 5 facts that were imported with the GEDCOM and are showing but as soon as I hit save and then view on the page, all but two disappear.

    If I go in and edit the facts section of a deceased relative I have no problems.

    I’m wondering if it has something to do with the privacy settings?

    Sounds like it might – I’ll take a look.

    Have you tried temporarily undoing the privacy setting and editing, see if the behavior is the same? Let me know.

    Kathy, I can’t seem to recreate the issue. be glad to work with you thru email to resolve. Can you send me some screen shots of your privacy settings and and when the facts are and are not there?
