    Hi!
FINALLY… I have been lookig for such a plugin for yonks… thank you.

A wish: is there a way to show a short-format Date: that is, without Day and time? Is there a way of using the standard WP formatting (as listed on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Formatting_Date_and_Time

I also can’t seem to get more than 10 items to display.

    Many thanks,
    Peter

Peter: rssdateformat allows item date to be formatted using php date parameters so you should be able to configure it however you like.

Ping me the feed you are working with and I’ll see if I can work out why only ten items show.

    Hi Titus:

Could you please give me an example how I can format the dates… I am unclear of the syntax…

    Another question:
my sites where I want to get feeds, are still closed, requiring registration & login (till launch, next week). I also have search engines blocked at the moment.

Am I correct in that the RSS feeds will not work till access is opened? I can’t get them to display.

I tried using other, published, sites, and the feeds seemed to work OK, except for the 10-entry limit.

    Thanks so much!
    Cheers

    Dear Peter,

Check https://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php for the date format options.

Try your rss feeds at https://simplepie.org/demo/ to see if it throws an error if not then it should work in the plugin but the site offering the feed requires a login chances are it will not work as you indicate.

    Yours

    Hi Titus:

    we are almost “live”.

The page where I want the feeds is: https://moretolife.org.uk/short-courses/short-courses-calendar/

I would like 3 separate feeds to list on the page, allowing for potentially 30 items.

At the moment only the first feed shows up. Does this plugin only allow one shortcode per page?

The 3 shortcodes I used on the page are:

    [rssinpage rssfeed='https://moretolife.org.uk/connect/category/cal/feed/' rssformat='Y' rssitems='10' rssorder='asc' rsstarget='_blank' rss description='no']

    [rssinpage rssfeed='https://moretolife.org.uk/esteem/category/cal/feed/' rssformat='Y' rssitems='10' rssorder='asc' rsstarget='_blank' rss description='no']

    [rssinpage rssfeed='https://moretolife.org.uk/purpose/category/cal/feed/' rssformat='Y' rssitems='10' rssorder='asc' rsstarget='_blank' rss description='no']

It’d be great to be able to separate them. Worst case scenario, I guess would be combining the feeds. Not optimal…

    Looking forward to your ideas…
    Peter
