[Plugin: Search and Replace] Excellent Plugin, one missing feature

  • This is a great plugin that has saved me a ton of time moving from a development server/url to production.

    One feature that is missing is to search/replace every table in the database. Maybe it could search every table with a certain table prefix?

    The reason for this is that some plugins create new tables and input the old development server url. This results in me running search/replace to change all urls in the standard WordPress tables, then manually going into the database to make other changes.

  • I agree – the plugin allows me to search all tables, but frustratingly not to replace in the fields that it’s found. But it’s otherwise great.
