[Plugin: Secure Invites] Feature Request

  • Automatic group joining

    It would be great option to be able to pre-set new user to join in existing group. And to be more precise, particularly in inviter’s group .

    E.g. When invitee follows invitation link and completes sign up form, he’s already joined as a member in inverter’s group.

    Integrate Roles and Capabilities

    Ability to give permissions and set rules according user’s existing role in WP installation. I’d make things a lot simpler.

    E.g. All admins could have unlimited invites but publishers would have limited number of invites while subscribers would not have any invites.

    We’d be interested in paying to implement these features…

    Which inviters group? A person may be a member of many groups.

    2) All admins could have unlimited invites but publishers would have limited number of invites while subscribers would not have any invites.

    This sounds doable, but it would have to work with custom permissions groups as well. I’ll put this in the list for a future version.

    By the way, I don’t do freelance work any more (including taking payment for plugin features). However I would be grateful for a donation to help towards my costs if you find my plugins useful.

    1) Good point. In our case invitee would be added to all inviters groups. But I see it would be best if inviter could be able to choose to which of his groups invitee is joined in when invitation is accepted.

    I think this would involve group permissions too. Only group admins and mods could auto join invitee to a group.
