Few days back I was having errors at checkout “server response could not be parsed” I was using checkoutwc and when I posted this issue into WordPress reddit, One WordPress expert told me this. When I disabled the dokan plugin the error and uneccasry requests were gone. Im also attaching link to error screenshots.

“Well, not really a “conflict”, as such. More a sign of a plugin doing something it should not be doing. It could be a simple accident or a bug.

Basically, JSON requests like WordPress uses nowadays require the resulting data from the request to be returned in the proper format. Some plugins have, in the past, been indiscriminate about what types of requests they add their output to. This can be entirely accidental, such as a plugin echo’ing content from within a shortcode function instead of properly returning it.

You should report the problem to the authors of the plugin, and show them the response image you posted here. Also pass this information along from me, and tell them if they have any questions, they can ask [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) for help, and we’ll take a look at whatever they have in the directory to see if we can spot what they missed”

  • Hello @ecoshopn ,

I have tried to reproduce the issue but failed to do so. I did not find any issue with checkoutwc and the console did not return any error while checkout, activating Dokan lite. If you could provide more insight about reproducing the issue then that would really help us.

Also, this could be a conflict too. But without properly reproducing the issue can not say for sure if the conflict is really a “conflict” or just a bug.

    Thank you!
