• If I understand correctly this plugin is purely a way to get people to pay for the pro version. I installed it and an ad appears at the top of the admin page – Get SEO Smart Links Premium. Right, I can still live with that but I was curious so clicked the link. Inter alia the pro version proudly states :”all reported bugs from the free version have been fixed”. In addition list specific items that have been fixed.

So, if I ‘get this’ we download the plugin and report the bugs. The developer fixes the bugs and puts it into a paid version. He makes money out of my time and effort to experiment with the plugin and I don’t even get the bugs fixed in the free version as a thank you.

Can’t think why I would want to assist you with this.

  • Agreed. I have no issues with plugin developers charging for premium versions with new features. Charging for bug fixes is plain wrong.
