[Plugin: SEO Ultimate] Auto-generate Meta Description

Hi,
I installed this plugin but is not generating the META DESCRIPTION automatically……is there the normal action of the plugin?
It doesn’t generate META DESCRIPTION if you don’t write in the post edit screen???
