Dear briansol,
For future reference, PLEASE read a plugin’s documentation before posting a complaint about it.
SEO Ultimate’s FAQ clearly states that the plugin settings page is located under Settings > SEO Ultimate
. You can easily disable the attribution link from there if you must.
SEO Ultimate does not make its unobtrusive attribution link “huge.” If it looks huge, that’s because your blog theme’s CSS is making it huge. If your theme is affecting plugin output, that’s not the plugin’s fault.
Your statement “this plugin offers nothing new over the all in one SEO pack” is inaccurate. Not only does beta version 0.1 offer features not found in AIOSP, but many more features are on the way, as clearly stated in the documentation:
This plugin is in beta, which means it’s very feature-incomplete. We have many more features that we’re working on finetuning before release, including meta editing, 404 monitoring, canonical tag insertion, PageRank sculpting, and more.
If you install the plugin now, you can have these new features delivered to you on a regular basis via WordPress’s automatic plugin upgrader.
Thank you for taking the time to try out SEO Ultimate.
