  • The new Version makes Problems with ajax and jquery. Can’t Upload in the Article Editor and more Problems.
SEO Ultimate uninstall and ajax and jquery is functionally 100%

a very good alternative is izioSEO and better as SEO Ultimate https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/izioseo/

This version killed my site, it would appear that there is a problem with the following file that causes an internal server error 500 and only loads the page header:

PHP Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/seo-ultimate/modules/meta/meta-descriptions.php on line 97

You probably need to patch this.

I have the same problem like gamerscheck i cant Upload/insert any image…. pese fix this

New version mass up with post editor. I have to save draft before edit my post and add tag.

y but izioseo : !This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress. and i dont understand de lang

@gamerscheck is right. This version mass up with ajax and jquery in post editor.

Having the same issues as snow6. Various bits of javascript are broken until a post is saved as a draft. Then all seems to operate as normal. Fairly certain this is down to the 7.3.x update(s), but I’ll double check in a moment.

edit: confirmed it’s down to seo ultimate (or possibly some kind of conflict) after deactivating the plugin.

Thanks for reporting the problems everyone. I’ll look into it. In the meantime, you can roll back to 7.2.9 by going to Settings > SEO Ultimate > Downgrade.

As a temp fix I can confirm the downgrade works, though you’ll have to go to:
{yoursite.com}/wp-admin to log-in before you can do it ??

same for me downgrade works thanks

@tryminenow: Did the scanner identify a particular piece of code as malware?

@mixtlupus: Version 7.3.5 fixes the problem you reported.

@john Lamersky….No it didn’t ID anything in particular but probably because you need to purchase the subscription. All appears to be ok after the update so great job once again. Awaiting the release of your WordPress Theme ??
