[Plugin: Set Front Page Post Count] Disrupts page navigation :-(

On page 2, 3 etc it has these navigation buttons:
← Older posts and Newer posts → now this is great and they work fine, but when I activate Set Front Page Post Count it only goes up to a certain limit, before it stops showing ← Older posts and Newer posts →.

Basically not all posts are shown if you keep going back. Depending on the post count for other pages (not the home page) that I set depends on how many pages it returns for me. I want to be able to click ← Older posts and get right back to the original posts on Technology Bloggers, but I can’t :-/
