Plugin settings reverted on last update

    A recent update (within the last 2 weeks) caused our site to revert to Stripe Sandbox. We never used stripe. We used PayPal. We lost up to two weeks of donations because of that switch.

    I’ve fixed it since but fear other websites might also be affected. We’ve used the plugin for 5 years so it’s pretty worrying that it would switch the payment gateway on a live site.

    Stripe didn’t have any credentials, not even sandbox credentials, so the form was unusable. At least that meant people didn’t try to donate and then get confused that the payment didn’t go through.

    I can’t use your private support forum and I don’t have a license for premium support, so I’m posting here even though you don’t use wp.org support.

    I no longer need support. This is just a bug report. Thanks

    That was fixed. It actually necessitated a dedicated mea culpa mailing where I told folks I broke things. It’s fixed now.
