That’s normal. Like any other third-party app, you need to explicitly give the Sexy Bookmarks Twitter tool permission to connect to your Twitter account.

But this just started for 2 days ago. never had this problem with any other plugins

In v3.3.8 we introduced a new way to share on Twitter that no longer requires the sharer to leave your website. They can share to Twitter right from your webpage. Users can now also share to multiple Twitter accounts at the same time. We believe this will lead to easier sharing (once setup) and more sharing activity on your site as a result!

Here is why we upgraded:

In v3.3.8 we introduced a new way to share on Twitter that no longer requires the sharer to leave your website. They can share to Twitter right from your webpage. Users can now also share to multiple Twitter accounts at the same time. We believe this will lead to easier sharing (once setup) and more sharing activity on your site as a result!

You should only have to connect once (across ANY blog that uses SexyBookmarks). If you’re having to connect each time you try to share something, that is a bug. If so, please let us know which web browser you’re using so we can troubleshoot.

Is it possible to revert to the old twitter behavior? I don’t want my readers to have to give access to their twitter accounts.
