    Hi,

I’m currently using AddtoAny, but some of the features of Share and Follow are appealing and I am considering a switch.

Unfortunately after I install Share and Follow, the share icons do not show up, and the tab on the right side of the screen does not look properly formatted.

You can mouse over where the icons are meant to be, and see the hyperlinks – but no icons themselves.

    Any ideas?

    Mythnick,

please don’t pepper the form with the same question in many places, it will not get you any quicker help.

Yes it is a CSS problem with your themes CSS where it forces a margin-left: 2.5em

If you want to fix it, then place this in either your theme’s css file or in the “add your own CSS section” of the share and follow plugin

    #follow ul li {margin-left:0}

Andy, thx for looking into this.

Do you think you got a fix on short notice? otherwise I will change my template and put the share_link in the template.

    ??

yes thank you i did add that line to my style.css
    and now it works

i am not a very good programmer
but that line will change also other widgets or posts that use ul li???
is there a way to change only thee css of your widget and make it work?
    like adding a -2.5 em……..

this plugin is very good, amazing work

small problems with some themes css’s….

    thank you

    bondjack,

can you double check the way that you are using the shortcode, because for me I cannot get it to break.

    please try

    [share_links list_style=iconOnly]

    and

    [share_links list_style=”iconOnly”]

where the quote marks are vertical and not leaning forwards. In all honesty you are still better off using my_share_links() theme tag if you plan to use this in every post

    Mythnick,

the CSS code will only effect the follow tab and it’s contents.

    Hi Andy,

    It’s working! ?? I had the arg list – with … …. style=”iconOnly”
    I missed the “list_” part

I copied it form you website, It’s the sample of how the shortcode can be used.

Thx allot buddy you realy helped me out ??

ps are you a dad already ??

    Bondjack,

Yep that was my fault then, causing confusion. I’ve adapted the documentation to match to way the shortcode works. thanks for pointing that out.

ps. mid may is when the baby is due. looking forward to it all

I’ve been using this plugin for about a year and it’s great. I have one little problem right now that I can’t figure out, though. I created a page, but the I changed the URL of it. The Twitter icon’s bit.ly link still goes to the first URL (now an error page). All the other links changed to the new one. Is there a way to make the Twitter link correct? Thank you!
