[Plugin: ShareThis: Share Buttons and Sharing Analytics] "Enable hovering bar" setting not

  • I am running WordPress 3.3.2 (waiting for another plugin to support current version of WP before upgrading to current version) and ShareThis 5.4.

    My problem is that when I click the check box for ‘Enable Hovering Bar’ in my WordPress setting for ShareThis, it does not seem to save. I get a green message saying ‘Your options were successfully updated’, but the box is unchecked on the settings page that appears after I submit the form.

    Anyone know what might be happening here, or how to manually over-ride? I am trying this on my site https://www.stuartmcmillen.com/

  • Hi Sir,
    It seems settings of the sharethis plugin added to your blog aren’t getting updated.
    This happens when sharethis plugin conflicts with any of the plugins added to the blog.
    Can you please retry changing the sharethis settings by disabling the other plugins?
    Also, please provide your blog admin credentials if it still doesn’t work for you.

    OR you can try adding the hoverbar code manually to your blog.
