Plugin Showing as MU, but not installed

  • I tried activating this plugin a couple weeks ago and it broke my site. Turned out to be an SSL cert issue with Cloudflare. In any case, the I’m seeing “Health Check Troubleshooting Mode” in my Must Use plugins section, but there’s no Troubleshooting section in Site Health.
    Is this some component left behind from the previous botched installation of the plugin? Should it be in MU? How can I remove it?

    Hi,

    The MU plugin is put there by the Health Check plugin, as you suspected.

    The MU plugin should be removed automatically if you chose to delete the plugin (unless something is preventing it from modifying files, for example a change in permissions or similar), or it can be manually removed by going into the wp-content/mu-plugins directory and deleting the Health Check file that is in there.
