I’m sorry for the delay responding. This new WordPress support system wasn’t properly sending notifications about new tickets so I never saw it.

Can you provide the actual error details you got? “Fatal error” isn’t enough. I need to know the full error.

I got this error when I tried to install your plugin, ‘Make An Offer’ for Woo Commerce. So far no one has been able to help. It did NOT install so there’s no folder to delete. I cannot get into my WP Log-in (or the dashboard when I was still logged in). I rebooted. Can you offer any advice? Thanks in advance for your help.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on null in /home1/galew2/public_html/atlantavintagejewelry.com/shop/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

Would it help if I downloaded and tried to install through FTP instead of through the dashboard?

If the plugin did not install and there is no folder for the plugin in the /plugins directory, then that means something else must be causing your issue because our plugin isn’t even running.

I would recommend disabling all your other plugins temporarily to see if the problem goes away. Then re-enable each one-by-one until it comes back to find the culprit.

If you can’t get into your admin panel you’ll need to move all the plugin folders out of the /plugins directory (or rename the folders) which will effectively disable them so your admin panel should load again.

Again, though, it sounds like this must be something completely outside the scope of our plugin, so that’s all the advice I can give you about that for now. Hope it helps!

I followed your directions to no avail. I found your plug-in actually DID install and I was able to log back into the dashboard. It was in the ‘deactive’ section. The minute I clicked ‘activate’ I got the exact same ‘Fatal Error’ message.

Just discovered that when I clicked “Get Details” of the now again deactivated plugin, the error comes up so it does appear to be a problem with the plug-in. Perhaps it didn’t install correctly. I may just delete it altogether and then try to re-install it tomorrow.

Yeah, give that a shot, but if it happens again I would say there still must be a conflict with some other plugin because we are not getting this report from any other users.

So what I would do is disable all your plugins, then re-install and activate Offers to see if it loads as expected. If so, then re-enable the others one-by-one until the problem comes back.

At that point we could install the conflicting here to try and reproduce the problem together with Offers. If we can reproduce it then we can see if it’s something we need to fix or if it’s a problem in the other plugin.

9:30AM EST. Nope. I deactivated every plugin except the woocommerce ones and my theme’s required ones in order to complete the test. Everything looked good. I re-installed ‘Make Offer’. As soon as I clicked ACTIVATE, up comes the error, Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on null in /home1/galew2/public_html/atlantavintagejewelry.com/shop/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

I’m using the latest WP version and the plug states it works with my version. I had to delete it again so I can work in the dashboard. I give up.

Must be a conflict with the theme or one of those required plugins then. If you want to try switching to one of the basic Twenty themes that would verify that one way or another.
