    Same problem here.

Same issue too – anyone have any ideas yet…..

Possible an ajax issue – check your browsers console/error log if you know how.

    Added some patches today.

Still have this problem (wp 3.3.2 lb 2.3.5) tried ie9 and chrome18.
Is there a way to see if the plugin is accessing the db?

    Same problem here.

Also the same problem…I went way back to version 2.2.15, last time site was updated and all was good. But 2.3.5 definitely had the issue described above, and neither Firebug nor the Chrome console picked anything up as far as JavaScript errors.

I’m experiencing this issue as well but it only happens if a user inputs an incorrect user/pass. It permanently freezes. But if correct user/pass is used, it proceeds as intended.

It was working fine before updating.

FYI I downgraded one-by-one until I was able to get it working again. 2.3.2 is the most recent version that works without the aforementioned issue in my post above.

Yep, 2.3.2 is the last version that works for me, too.

    same problem here

This problem cropped up for me when I upgraded WP to 3.4.1 a few days ago. I discovered that turning off WP Super Cache solved the problem (but now the site is slow).

I have the same issue too. I get mixed results. Sometimes it works and sometimes it just gives me the grey box.

Getting the same issue when using WP Super Cache. Clearing the cache seems to correct it but then comes up again occasionally.

I have the same problem, and I do not have WP Super Cache installed

Definitely broken with current WordPress. I don’t have WP Super Cache yet the plug in always hangs. I have to use the “plain regular” login window to enter now.
