  • Have you added any new categories since you installed the plugin? If not, try adding a new one and see if it appears in the window.

    Hi Wee.

    Thanks, but adding new categories doesn’t work; still getting
    — Private Posts — as the only available Category

    Would realy like to use this widget, but will have to dump it if it wont’ work.

    OK, resolved.
    If this widget is installed when a site is built, prior to installing content, the widget won’t show up at all.
    Without content, you have no Categories. Ergo, only the default Pvt Posts shows up.
    But, with added content with categories assigned, every category gets added to the drop down list… and life is good.
    Graphics have to be scaled to the sidebar width.

    Ah yes! I remember getting a bit confused by that when I first installed the plugin on my site. It’s like you said, you can create categories, but the plugin won’t use them unless they are assigned to a post. Well…I’m glad you’ve got it under control. Take care!
