[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Change button location on login/registration page

  • I like that the plugin automatically places the ‘Connect with Facebook’ button on the login and registration page.

    Is it possible to have the button placed above the form instead of the bottom of the form?

    I’ve got no problem making some edits, but I don’t know where I would not know where to make those edits.

  • Well, I’m trying to add my own button b/c the SFC button does not appear at all. I wanted to offer my customers the opportunity to log in as normal or log in using Facebook. I am using the Register Plus plugin as well… Are there any known conflicts with SFC? Maybe that could be the culprit?

    I guess the question is how did you make this customized Login page? SFC doesn’t take custom stuff into account, it’s designed to work with the defaults and anything that implements those defaults as standards.

    In other words, the button will show up on a normal login page. Whatever you’re using to customize that page isn’t implementing the necessary hooks to make the stuff like this appear.

    Well, I didn’t make it… it’s just the login page that came built in with the theme. Thanks Otto…

    Hmmm.. I’ll investigate.. Email me and I’ll check it out further. Perhaps the theme needs mods I don’t know yet.
