[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Comments do not Get Back – Video Thumbnail Frozen

  • Hello Otto,

    Thank you for your effort.

    I can’t seem to make the following three features work properly :

    1 – Integrate comments made on Facebook back into your own site.
    No comment on FB gets transported over to my WP post replies.

    2 – When posting on my website and Liking, post goes on FB, but images of embedded video do not show up.
    Just a frozen loading wheel where the thumbnail should be.

    3 – When UN-Liking a post, I get an error (in red) just to the right of the LIKE button line and post just remain “liked”

    I am using TwentyEleven 1.3 and everything is updated on my side.

    If anyone feels like commenting and save Otto some precious time I would greatly appreciate it.
    Not a power user here, just beginning to get close to WP and PHP.

    PS – Not sure this is a bug or a wish feature.
    …I would like for any reply I make to my post on WP to be displayed under the same post on my FB page.
    Not to have a new post on FB everytime I post a reply to my WP post.

    ok, looks like image thumbs are correctly displayed at FB page.
    Frozen wheel shows up only for videos.

    …more feedback.

    Look like the only way to display an image in the FB post connected to your plugin is if “Featured Image” is selected among post options.
    Any other way does not display an image when FB reports of your plugin activity.
    Also, videos are not displaying a thumbnail but a frozen wheel.
