    Hi all,
I’ve downloaded and installed Simple Facebook Connect Base successfully. When I try to install the comments plugin, I found the same error even if the login and register are activated:

SFC-Comments doesn’t work with sites that require registration to comment. Use SFC-Login and SFC-Register to allow users to register on your site.

Does anyone can help me to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance for your help and best regards
    Mara

Turn off SFC-Comments if you don’t allow anonymous comments on your site.

    Hi Otto,
    thanks for your mex ??

Anonymous comments are now allowed and I don’t see the same error. The FB connect login is working correctly (I can login and see my name&avatar) but if I try to click on “post comment” at the bottom of my mex, the click doesn’t work (even if I share/don’t share the post in my FB wall)

Do you know why I have this strange issue?
    Thanks and best

Try the default theme, see if it works there. If so, then perhaps you have some javascript code in your theme doing client-side validation of the form fields. In such a case, you’ll need to disable or remove that code. SFC Comments expects those fields to be submitted blank, and then it fills in the name and email and such on the backend, using info from Facebook.

    Hi Otto,
there was an old plugin who gave me problems with arras theme. I’ve solved the issue and now SFC is working correctly: I can login with my FB details, send and share comments through. The only problem is that I can’t see my FB uploaded comment under my WP article. Do you know how to solve it?
    Thanks

“can’t see my FB uploaded comment under my WP article”

I don’t know what that means. What are you not seeing and what do you expect to see?

    Hi Otto,
the plugin is online. The login and posting phases are working correctly. I posted a comment here (https://www.telefilm-central.org/2011/08/27/eric-kripke-adattera-il-comic-book-deadman-per-the-cw#comment-148): I can see the message in my FB wall but:
    – I can’t see my comment in WP, under the article. I expect to see the comment in WP as well but it’s not showing.
    – I can’t see my comment in my Fan Page even if the token was found and I have the Fan Page ID in my Simple connect panel.
Maybe for the first issue, the problem is connected with my Arras theme but I don’t know where to find the code to change.
    Thanks

for the fan page issue, I’ve discovered tha the plugin recognizes as fan page the profile page

so I found my comment in this page https://www.facebook.com/telefilm.central (proflie) instead of the fan page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Telefilm-Central/148907798455419) even if i used 148907798455419 as fan page id

    Hi Otto,
I fond the issue: it’s arras, my wp theme that it’s causing problems with this plugin. If I use the default theme, simple facebook connect is working correctly.
I’ll use this plugin in another site, where I have a simple layout.
    Thanks again for your help
    Cheers

In Arras, disable the “aria-required” code, or disable any captchas you might have running. This might help with the issue.
