[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] SFC events widget

  • Hi, I’m trying to use the Simple Facebook Connect plug-in for the events widget. I have made a dynamic sidebar in my theme which works perfectly. But when I insert the events widget in it, it doesn’t seem to work. Other parts of the SFC-plugin do work.
    I have entered the Facebook ID of a Facebook user (not a group or what so ever). What should it show? The events I made myself? The events I was invited to? …? I have already made a test event and I am invited to a couple of events, a few of which I positively rsvp’d to. I would like the widget to display a list of events, like the following:

    13 feb 2011: event #1
    26 mar 2011: event #2

    (with the name of the events being links to the Facebook event pages)
    Is this even possible?

    Any thoughts?

    A lot of people have trouble with the events widget. Nothing I can do about it, the problem seems to be with Facebook’s code, not mine.

    I guess I’ll find another calendar plugin for now then.
    Do you have an example of a website where the events widget does work? Or do all people have the same problem?
