    Greetings,

I would like to use SFC on a multisite installation that exists across multiple domains. I have run into the following logical paradoxes…

As of this writing, I have not found a way to setup a single Facebook App to allow access across multiple domains. Therefor, each domain will need its own app id/api/secret.

If SFC is enabled on more than one domain, the domain in which the user authorizes first is used to create the connection from wpaccount <-> facebook in their profile.

My experimentation has shown that once that first connection made, I can use single click sign on for the original domain in which I made the connection, but if I attempt to use single sign-on from a different domain I am simple redirected to a blank page, no other information provided.

I am assuming that this is likely caused by conflicts in that the oauth key doesn’t match the app we are trying to use for the different domain. No work arounds there.

Has anybody ran into this issue? Or can you think of an easy work arounds?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jake

Firstly, you can’t make a Facebook app work across multiple domains. Period. You must have a different app for each domain name.

Secondly, sign on works fine. But you have to “connect” the account to the user on both sites/apps (in the Users->Your Profile page). Once you’ve authorized the account on the new domain, you should be able to sign into that domain too.

SFC doesn’t store any sort of keys for the user sign in data, it just stores the user ID number. But you do have to authorize it under the new application for it to recognize that number and sign you in.

Note: for multisite, this means that your login area has to be on the same domain as the site itself. If you’re using the domain mapping plugin, you can’t use the “remote login” or “redirect admin pages” functionality. It won’t work with either of those, because the app number won’t match the domain name any more.

Now after update, SFC has stopped working with wordpress multisite. Is there any way to make it work again with multisite.
After activation, on settings page, it doesn’t display the list of plugins.
