[Plugin: Simple Fields] Copying Field Groups etc from one site to another?

    I’m using Simple Fields on a site. I’ve just now converted the site to a Multisite install so I can run two language versions of the same site using the Multilingual Press plugin. Is there a way I can copy the Simple Fields settings (Field Groups, Post Connectors etc) from my original site into each new site I create in the WP Multisite install?

    I need the same Simple Fields on each site but really don’t want to have to manually recreate each one.

    Rabassa – No unfortunately not. Luckily the job is not urgent so I can afford to wait for a reply here – if one ever comes! If I find my own way around the problem I will be sure to post it here.

    Anybody figured this out yet?

    The problem with manually recreating each simple field is that the keys for the manually created fields won’t match the ones of the original site, so the meta keys i’ve used in my templates won’t work on the new language site. I really don’t want to have to recreate all simple fields AND create new templates.

    Is there any way to copy the simple fields from one site to another within a multisite installation?

    ok solved the 2nd issue of the keys not matching. The latest version of Simple Fields has slugs as well as meta keys (wow, well done P?r!). Using the slugs in my templates instead of the keys means I won’t need to produce separate templates. Recreating the simple fields really doesn’t seem too much of a hassle now!

    Just want to take this opportunity to thank P?r for such an amazing plugin. It’s about time I bought him a beer…donation sent!
