• Hello,

I really like your plugin and especially with the [gallery] tag option included. However i find it difficult to use.

Why not just make it simpler.

    – Add below the post field a button upload image.
    – When the image is uploaded the image id is then noted.
    – After the selection you put in the [gallery] tag in your post and when you publish it it will post the uploaded images.

Now i have to put more work into it by checking which images i want in my post by checking the id’s otherwise i will get ALL the images in my gallery in to my post.

This other plugin i tried has the option with the post to upload images and select the id automatically from the gallery but it lacks the option to use tags in the post to place the images into.

This is that other plugin : WP Simple Galleries

Also it would be great if you uses dynamic scalling while showing the images because some are now restricted to 1 size.

Or why not have an option in the screen which lets a user choose to show the full image.

The plugin is really nice but it’s not workable for me with a lot of potst and i am the technician of my group. I have a hard time telling my crew members how to use your plugin correctly.

Let the computer work for you instead of you working for the computer.

But the plugin is great man. Hopefully you will add these option on to this plugin.

    Respect.

    Hi,

Thanks for your post. I’m gonna try to answer all you suggestions.

First, I don’t want this plugin to be intrusive and to add a lot off buttons into the admin. That’s why I used the native WordPress gallery and with the 3.3 version of WordPress, it very simple to download images inside a post.

If you don’t want to post ALL images inside the gallery you have an “exclude” param in the native gallery. You can choose the ID’s you don’t want (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Gallery_Shortcode)

Then, one word about image sizes. I used the native WordPress images sizes (thumb and large). You can change it in your WordPress settings. (I’m not sure I’ve answered your question…)

Maybe I could add an option to show the full width image link when clicked on the medium view.

    I hope you’ll enjoy my answer ??
    Regards,

Hi, Love the plugin. Just one issue that hopefully you can help me with. After adding a gallery to a post, regardless of which photo you click on in the photo grid, the gallery always starts with the first photo in the photo grid. Is there a way to have the gallery start on the photo that the user clicks and then have the ability to navigate forward and backward from that photo?
    thanks!
