[Plugin: Simple Newsletter Plugin] Failed to verify e-mail?

  • I’m using Simple Newsletter Plugin https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordpress-newsletter/ on my website. It all looks okay, except when the user subscribes and gets an email with a verification link, it gets an error: “Failed to verify your email.”

    Anyone got the same problem and knows a solution? I checked all my settings and it is all fine. Tried to contact the author of this plugin but got no response ?? Could anyone help? It’s really important.

    Alternatively, is there any good newsletter plugin for WP (WPMU) I could use instead? Tried the free version of meenews, but it didn’t really work at all for me.

  • I got the same problem. The subscribers get an email, tells them to confirm the subscription, and get an email like this:

    http:/?na=c&ni=2&nt=c29b020dc3759498c4e91252645d3f0f

    Thus, the person can never confirm his or hers subscription.

    Any help?
