I downloaded the Simple Page Sidebars and find it very useful. However, I created a sidebar with a name that I would like to change, but cannot figure out how to change it. Example, the sidebar name is Contact but I want it to be Rwanda. I have tried to edit in both the sidebar and the Sidebar drop down menu, but nothing is working. Can you please tell me what I need to do? Thank you.

There isn’t a way to rename sidebars in the way that you’re wanting to, but you can change the sidebar name with this process.

    1. If you have widgets in the custom sidebar, drag them to the Inactive Widgets section to save them.
    2. Then go rename the sidebar on every page that’s using the custom sidebar. The first time you do this, the new custom sidebar will be created. When there aren’t any pages using a custom sidebar, it will no longer show on the Widgets admin screen.
    3. After you’ve done that, you can drag your widgets from the Inactive area to the new custom sidebar.

Let me know if that doesn’t help.
