[Plugin: Simple Sidebar Navigation] Custom li Classes

  • Hi I am having an issue with the simple side nav widget. I have a 2 tier side nav, and I’m trying to style the Parent li (or a) tag of the current_page_item child li tag. (hopefully that made sense).

    The current_page_item works fine, however, if you current page is a child page, then the parent pages class of (current_page_item) disappears and just reads page_item, which makes it hard to style differently.

    Does anyone know of a way to add a custom class to the parent li tag??

    I see what you’re saying. Basically you want a class to be assigned to a parent list item of the currently active sub-item.

    I’ll have to look at it some time later and see what can be done.
