[Plugin: Simple Social Sharing] Excluding a Page

  • First, thanks for the great plugin. I found the other social share plugins (and I’ve checked out pretty much all of them) to be overly stuffed with options that feel cumbersome and unnecessary for an intimate site like mine. The simple functionality here is a beautiful thing. Even with my limited code ability, I was able to do a little modifying and get exactly what I wanted.

    One thing that might make for a nice update: I have a couple of password protected pages that I’d love to be able to exclude. I’m sure its probably just a bit of code dropped in the right place but I’m on a pretty steep learning curve and I thought you might help me out. If you get a chance, I’d be much obliged. Regardless, for whatever its worth, it would be cool if there was an option to exclude page ID’s.

    I’ve just pushed out an update to have the share bar filter out for any password protected posts.

    I’m planning on doing an overhaul of the plugin soon to make it leaner, so in the future I may include a meta box for post and page stuff.
