[Plugin: Simple Tags] Help Getting exclude_tags working in Related Posts?

  • I am using WordPress 2.5.1 and Simple Tags 1.5.7.

    Does anyone know if exclude_tags is working in Related Posts? I click on Settings – Simple Tags – Related Posts and in the Advanced Usage field I enter

    number=2&exclude_tags=1,2,3

    The system picks up this string as related posts are now limited to 2 but the exclude_tags does not appear to work it continues to show posts that have tag ids of 1, 2 or 3?

    The IDs 1,2,3 are got from the Manage – Tags screen and hovering over a tag and looking at the target URL – is this the correct ID?

    Any help on getting exclude_tags working would be greatly appreciated?
