[Plugin: Simple Twitter Connect] Cannot logout of Twitter in STC

  • I’ve logged into Twitter using the STC and left a comment. The comment showed up in my Twitter feed and on the site perfectly. But I cannot seem to logout of Twitter through the STC plugin. In fact, I manually logged off of my Twitter account on the Twitter site and it still shows me as connected via Twitter?

    Even after having used FireCookie to delete all twitter and api.twitter cookies, it’s still showing me logged into Twitter?

  • I was having the same problem on my site, but I did manage to get it to log out eventually. What I did was:

    1. Logged out from WordPress
    2. Logged out from Twitter
    3. Deleted “Domain Cookies” using the Web Developer Toolbar in Firefox
    4. Deleted browser cache

    After reloading the page, I was then logged out from Twitter and had the default view of my comment form.

    I’m having the same problem on my site. Is there a fix for this? I don’t think users are going to go thru all that trouble as outlined above.

    I’m having the exact same problem. Hopefully, someone will come up with a fix.
