The issue happens after I click the “Sign in with Twitter” link in the Publish Settings area.

You have some other plugin that is using OAuth. Figure out which one it is, then disable it.

I don’t view that as a solution. The conflicting plugin is Google Analytics for WordPress; Plugins should play nice together. I’ve updated this plugin to do so.

If the GA plugin is using a conflicting library, then there’s naturally going to be a conflict. You can email me your solution if you like. No guarantees I’ll use it though.

Note that a Google Analytics plugin shouldn’t need an OAuth library, as Google doesn’t use OAuth in that sort of a manner as far as I know. This would make me suspicious.

Anyway, feel free to email me a patch: [email protected].

Google Analytics DOES use Oauth, btw:

It shouldn’t have to use OAuth to connect to Google, is sorta my point.

Although I grant you that it is an older plugin and may not be doing the OAuth2 thing yet.

@bc3tech Would you be interested in sharing your fix for STC? I’m encountering the same issue with it and Google Analytics for WordPress.
