[Plugin: Simple YouTube] No settings, no instructions… what do you do with this thing

  • It would be nice if there were some more complete and clear directions about how to use this plugin.

    It says to “Check the settings page if you want to change the defaults.” I did not see any settings page.

    The description says, “to help embed youtube videos with playlist by time.” The time part is explained, but what is meant by playlist? How does this work? Can you create a playlist, does it play YouTube playlists? What does this thing do? The screen shots look great… But how do you do that?

    “How to modify the playlist style?
    You need to edit playlist.css”… How? How? How?

    I appreciate the time invested in developing these plugins to contribute to the community but Simple You Tube, at least as far as directions goes, is a little too simple.

    sorry for the late reply.

    Its a mistake saying to look in the settings page. i’ll fix that.
    check the example in the installation part that shows how to add playlist.

    the playlist is actually list of “title,time” where
    the playlist is the titles and a click on it will jump to the
    specified time for that title.

    it was a requested plugin where a teacher uploads a public video to youtube which is long and contains multiple lesson parts
    and wanted a “playlist” to jump to specific lesson in the video.
