[Plugin: Simply Exclude] Category won't hide from front page

    i first tried ACE but it didn’t work for me so i went with simply exclude. everything works fine except that the categories are still showing in my front page. pages and single posts are already excluding the categories but not in the front page. i tried every combination in the categories option of this plugin to no avail. can anybody help?

    I guess the obvious questions are:

    1. What category are you attempting to exclude from the from page?

    2. Just to be clear when you say front page we should agree this is the main content area and not the sidebar categories?

    3. In wp-admin on the Simply Exclude Category page what options exactly do you have checked or set?

    4. Just to make sure what version of the plugin and WordPress are you running.

    oh good it’s working now without me doing anything. must be my wp-cache which shouldn’t cache the index page in the first place. all’s well. sorry for the trouble and false alarm mr paul.
