[Plugin: Site Background Slider] New user with a few questions about settings

I just installed this plugin, created a custom folder in my new 2011 child theme, uploaded one photo and it is working fine -looks fantastic and the overlay effects are quite nice! But there are a few changes I would like to make before proceeding with building my site and was hoping someone could give me some pointers on things.. before I start to muck around with settings etc. the questions I have are:

1. Is it possible to have one photo background that does not keep refreshing? -the top left corner has the time/arrows popping up and the image keeps fading in/out, both of which I would like removed if possible.

2. Is it possible to hide the source image file so that people cannot find/download it?

3. Are there any good tutorials on customizing 2011 to work with the Site Background Slider? -default view content area almost completely covers the background image so my goal is to resize/move the entire content area and alter the opacity so the background is somewhat visible.
