[Plugin: Slick Social Share Buttons] Pinterest button doesn't work

I’m having the same problem. When you click Pin It, the thumbnail box is blank in the popup and there’s no option to choose other images even though there are multiple on the page (and the same page works normally with Pinterest’s own Pin It bookmark button.

It does, however, accurately pick up the number of times the page has been pinned.

The brand new update (2.4.1) has this fixed. A big thank you to the developers.

OK, so I spoke too soon. Can now choose the image, but it doesn’t actually post to the board.

Does the pinterest pop up window appear after selecting the image?

Yes. This is what I get:

1. Click “Pin It” from the float bar and get the choice of a thumbnail.
2. Choose thumbnail and get popup asking to sign in to Pinterest.
3. Sign in. Choose Board (a board that definitely corresponds only to my account, so I know the login is working normally). Enter Description.
4. Click Pin It. Where I should get the “Success” screen that I get with Pin It’s own bookmarklet, instead the popup stays, the thumbnail is replaced by a beige square, the Description is cleared, and no pin appears on my board.

ok will take a look. its using the pinit bookmarklet code so will see if it’s showing any errors

pinterest doesn’t count for me:(

It works with publishing post to pinterest but no count.

We’re wondering if this has anything to do with Pinterest itself. We are experiencing the same problem as pxlar8, but we’re using a different plugin. We also experience the same problem just using the Pinterest-provided bookmarklet itself. Does anyone else have any insight?
