[Plugin: Slickr Flickr] CSS issues with IE8 and IE9

Hi,

Confession: since I moved to MAC 2 years ago my IE testing has been a bit on the light side. That said, often the issues are down to the WordPress theme overriding the plugin settings

Please supply a URL of the page with the disjointed layout, and I will try and establish whether the issue is down to the plugin or the theme

I am having the same issues. The gallery is pushing into the right column and the galleria never even loads the images.

Hi David,

I think you are running some other plugin that is reformatting the HTML created by Slickr Flickr.

For example, it is adding extra paragraphs tags around photo descriptions resulting in invalid HTML:

<p><p>Santa Monica - Evening at the pier</p></p>

Try switching off some other plugins one at a time and re-testing and I suspect your page will render faithfully. You will then isolate which plugin is causing the problem.

One example of a plugin that had this undesired side-effect of invalidating the HTML is PHP ShortCode

Yes, I think it was/is something in the custom them I was using as the twenty eleven theme works fine now.
