    @clearbluesky,

    It works in WordPress 3.4.
    What problem(s) did you have with it?

    Well it was working till I upgraded to 3.4

    Have a load of images in my Media library and they are attached to https://guysherlockphotography.co.uk/about I have have [slideshow] on my About page but no slideshow can be seen
    By the way I have disabled ALL my other plugins to avoid any possible conflicts.

    Any ideas?

    @clearbluesky,

    I assume that you want to display the images uploaded to the About page through the media uploader, right ?

    Can you please change [slideshow] to [slideshow post_id="X"] where X is the ID of the About page ? That should solve the problem.

    I look forward to your response!

    Yes all images uploaded thro media uploader
    Have added in [slideshow page_id=”about”] and [slideshow post_id=”about”]but neither work. I am using Static Pages rather than posts though

    @clearbluesky,

    Don’t use [slideshow page_id="about"]….

    Use something like [slideshow post_id="23"] where 23 is the ID (numeric value) of the post/page.

    Also… don’t change post_id to page_id as the plugin has no page_id parameter. Whether it is a post or a page, always just use post_id.

    Hi
    I had to change my Permalink setting to get the Page ID number – any other way to do this??? Anyway that worked using [slideshow post_id=”23″]

    I then also changed my custom Permalinks was set to use /%post_id% to use the standard Post Name.

    Now works great!

    @clearbluesky,

    Glad to hear that it’s working now!

    Please be so kind as to give the Slideshow Gallery plugin a rating and vote that it “Works” since it works for you ?? https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/slideshow-gallery/

    No problem. It would be very helpful if a future update did not require the Post Id# for static web pages

    Much appreciate your swift response, many thanks.

    @clearbluesky,

    Thank you for your response.

    The post_id is needed to display slides from a post. When the post_id parameter is left empty or not specified, it automatically looks for slides added under Slidesho > Manage Slides section in the plugin (which you diddn’t have in this case).

    Yes I understand – the reason I don’t use that is that there appears to be no bulk uploading facility. For slideshows I have 20-30 JPEGS to upload so its a pain to do this one at a time. Or am I missing something?

    Hello,

    I realised that your plugin is not seen correctly in mobile templates as Twenty Eleven.

    I think you only must insert (at main div) “100% width” style, so the slider must fit at whatever device.

    Thanks!

    Hi sir! I have a problem on the display. Previously I used the old version is better, after upgrading to version 3.4 are not shown.
    My url: https://93.188.251.5/~zantosnw/?page_id=19
    I use shortcode: [slideshow post_id=”19″]
    Please help me!
