Thanks for finding this! IE9 often ends up off the radar since I’m developing on a Mac.

I have viewed the slideshow on iPADs and haven’t seen the upside down image thing yet though. Now that sounds like a pretty funky problem!

    Thanks cpres,

For some unknown reason I cannot see the upside down problem now either. Only when I wanted to display to an audience it was upside down and it was embarrassing. Now its fine. I would not worry about this. But the IE9 problem still remains as you noted.

Hello cpres and yakos. I don’t know if this is the same issue as you are having in ie9 but I wanted to pass it along as it fixed my issue in ie7,8 and 9. With the Absolute centering turned on in configuration settings > general settings I had an issue where the images were not centering in ie but were resizing (which was a feature I needed) if the image was smaller than the gallery size after the automatic resize. To fix it I added “div.orbit img {margin:0 auto;position:relative;}” to my ie style sheet and all is right with the world.

On a separate note, might be a big ask I don’t know but anyway to allow shortcodes from another plugin to be placed in the description of an image the way it currently accepts html and regular text? What I’m looking to do is provide a link to a download file via a shortcode for the plugin “wp-Filebase” instead of a link to a separate page. I’m not yet a paying member but I’m heading that way… so far love the plugin.

Thanks storio, I couldn’t see any issues in IE9 when I tested yesterday, but I’ll add your fix to the 1.3.3 release which I’m hoping to release this week with a few other cool updates ??
