[Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] title & description cannot display Japanese.

I have the same issue. I guess its because the plugin doesn’t use the right font coding. UTF-8 and UTF-16 perhaps will solve these issues. But it has to come from the designer.

how did you let your plugin support Kanji UTF?

It was an issue on the database side. MySQL doesn’t default to UTF so you have to force it on setup, for example, here’s what I changed my slide title to:

VARCHAR(150) CHARACTER SET utf8 NOT NULL DEFAULT ”

refer to “Search with foreign characters (Danish ? ? ?) not working”

What do you mean? Are those Danish characters not working? Do they not fall under UTF?
