It seems there is an incredible overhead in loading pages when the plugin is enabled. I checked by disabling one by one all the plugins, and when this one is disabled, everything is again smooth and fast as before the WP upgrade to version 4.2.

So my consideration come by excluding all the others plugins.
Please check if there is any incompatibility that raised up with the new version of WP.

In version 4.1.* and before, your plugin was working without any problem. And officially I need such a plugin working for specific customization I did to my website.

Hope you will solve quickly any issue. For the moment I am forced to try to find a workaround.

    Best regards

    Hi Davide,

Thanks for taking the time to report this issue to us.
We will certainly take a look and consider performance issues for our next update. In the meantime, what theme are you running?

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Ciao Damian

thanks for your answer. It seems that the problem is indipendent from the theme. In any case I am using respectively Flat, Customizr and a purchased element from ThemeForest.
I have tested the behaviour also in respect of TwentyFifteen and before… same performance issue.

    Hope this will help you.
    Best regards,
    Davide

    Hi Davide,

    Thanks for your response.
When you say performance issue, what delays are you experiencing?
Have you created many code blocks? How many pages and posts do you have?

We have optimised and even tested the plugin to deal with around 100 code blocks with over 1000 pages and posts and it worked perfectly. This is due to the way the plugin manages and uses resources when required. For example, CJT does not load all of the page/post titles in the Assignment Panel until you scroll or use pagination. Also keeping code blocks closed (or minimised) is a good way to conserve resources as CJT will dynamically load the code inside the code block only when you maximise them.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian
